I made this stamp in respond to many things I've discovered online within the past weeks.
I made this stamp because half of the internet seems to have totally no idea what atheism is.
There are two popular definitions:1. Atheism means lack of belief in a deity/deities
2. Atheism means a belief there is no deity/deities
I prefer the first one, since all atheists will answer the question
Do you believe in a deity/deities with
No. But the question
Do you think there is a deity/deities divides them. Some do think there is no such things. Some are agnostics. Some think something else.
What atheism is NOT:- lack of morality
Atheists have sense of moral just like everyone else. We don't need a deity to tell us what is moral and what is immoral. More to the point, I think this quote is pure win: "If you need a religion to be a good person, you are not a good person." (If you know who originally said that, please tell me)
- no sense of "good and evil" (with quotation marks since I passionately hate the entire concept of good and evil, or at least the version of it most people seem to think it means)
- hatred towards Christianity
Sure some atheists like to troll creationists and stuff, but that doesn't mean every single atheists hates Christians.
- hatred towards religions in general
This is even more ridiculous than the preceding stereotype...
- "There's no god so I can what the heck I want no matter what others think!!"
We don't live to please a deity or to get to heaven/avoid going to hell. but that doesn't mean we don't take other people into account.
Yes, you can find atheists to who one or more of these
stereotypes apply to, but you can as well find theists who are guilty of similar if not same "crimes" - pedophile priests, people assaulting and even killing in the name of god, and "God hates [insert whatever you want here]!" -way-of-thinking people are just examples.
Anything listed above is
not intended as an attack towards theists!
(If there's something you think could be added to the list, please drop a comment!)

Hell, I'd donate Points to you for this, had I the money!
It's so nice to get another clear-headed individual on this!
I'm not bashing religion but imagine a jewelry store with lovely jewels just sitting there in front of two people, the owner of the store is a widow who is very poor.Who is the more moral person? The one who doesn't steal because there is a security camera watching them,or the one who doen't steal because they pity the widow?
Even as an antitheist I do not hate chistianity or religions, I simply believe they cause much more bad than good and thus at least organized religion needs to be ended if we as a species are to prosper...
